Uber x Delta

Uber x Delta SkyMiles

In 2025 an epic partnership landed on our desks- Uber and Delta were joining forces. This was Uber’s largest airline partnership to date. Everyone knows no airline fans go harder than Delta. As a gal often bouncing between SFO and MIA, I could not relate as im unfortunatly tied to American Airlines forever. So I lead this project out of the goodness of my heart (and because I had no choice). This partnership allows SkyMile members to earn extra points via Uber rides and Uber Eats order, further positioning Uber as the go-to app for travelers. With two iconic brands coming together, the creative task was to build a flexible global design system that would bring the partnership to life across any and every current and future touchpoint.

From Road to Runway

Uber + Delta have come together to make sure you’re covered from road to runway. Inspired by the liminal space where the road meets the sky, and every basic window seat sunset/sunrise shot you see on Instagram - we leaned into what we called a world of “new horizons.” Visualizing that exciting place at the end of the road where these two brands collide, mile after mile, cars and planes, land and sky. We created our own infinite sunrise, blending Delta’s iconic navy and red into sweeping gradients grounded in Uber black. And because this was a true partnership, duality became a key thread throughout the system—two brands, two worlds, one shared horizon.

Illustrations

We leaned into illustration knowing it would give us the most impactful flexibility to bring the two brands together and create a visual world that could stretch across any type of communication. Working with illustrators Maria Fedoseeva and Nash Weerasekera, we created a suite that felt airy, expansive and slightly surreal, capturing that dreamy space somewhere between the road and the sky. Compositions were kept direct and cinematic, playing with scale, perspective and plenty of negative space to make everyday moments of travel feel a little more unexpected. Deep blacks grounded the world, while gradients of Delta’s red and navy brought in the feeling of an endless vibey sunrise or sunset.

Partnership Launch Party

We took the co-branded illustrative world we created and brought it to life irl in Atlanta for the official Uber Delta Launch Party. It’s one thing to see creative off the decks and in the real world, its another to see people enjoy it in real time while the one and only DOECHIII lights up the crowd on a stage you designed.
